Regulator CE-540L for use on 12v Harley-Davidson Generators

End Bell Regulator Fits Model 65A 12 Volt Generators when using a small battery in a horse shoe oil tank. This is the same regulator that comes with Cycle Electric’s DGV 5000-L. The CE-540L was adapted from the CE-500 to fit on the Model 65A generators. Adding this to your existing generator will make it perform like a DGV-5000L as long as it is not a weak generator. This regulator will not fit on imported aftermarket generators, but will fit on any stock Harley 65A generator. The current limiting circuit senses armature temperature and limits the current in an inverse proportion. Temperature goes up, amps go down. This gives you more amps after a cold start to recharge your battery faster (5 minutes instead of 20). Yet protect against over heating (armature burn out).
