S&S Carburetor Support Bracket – 1991 – 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportsters

The Gasbox S&S carburetor support for 1991 – 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportsters allow you to run custom air cleaners that do not use the stock S&S air cleaner backing plate. Black powder-coated Steel. Made in Ohio, USA. Carburetor support brackets should be used when not using a stock air cleaner and backing plate. Most stock setups, including the S&S Super E backing plate, have support for the carburetor integrated into the design. When running a custom air cleaner on a Harley-Davidson, the carburetor support bracket makes sure that the carb is securely mounted so the manifold can’t rotate, making the carb sag downward. When running a custom air cleaner (such as a Lowbrow Louvered Air Cleaner or a Gasbox Dog Dish Air Cleaner) on a Harley-Davidson Evolution Big Twin or Sportsters engines or a Twin Cam engine, breather bolts are often needed to complete the installation.
