This bolt-on hardtail rear frame section fits stock front frame sections on Sportsters from 1967 to 1978 (stock front frame section not included). This is a ‘traditional’ straight-leg hardtail, as opposed to the Lowbrow Customs KR style Sportster hardtail, which has a large radius (looped) section at the axle plates.
Regarding only 1967-1969 Sportsters: This hardtail fits 1967-69 XL and XLH. It will NOT fit 1967-1969 XLCH models.
Hand-made from 1″ x .125″ wall crew tubing with 5/16″ thick axle plates and designed to bolt right up to your frame with ease. Just what you need for that Ironhead bobber, chopper or race bike build. This hardtail frame is completely dialed in, you will not find a more complete or well-designed Harley Ironhead Sportster hardtail anywhere.
This frame accepts the stock rear wheel, axle, axe adjusters and brake. This frame is approximately 4″ stretch over stock wheelbase and 2″ drop (2 inches lower than stock). Proudly made in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. These hardtails are in stock and ship immediately.
