The MMX Performance G8X Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link Set is a length-adjustable drop link developed to restore correct anti-roll bar geometry on lowered G8X M cars.
The factory drop link is a fixed length, set around the factory ride height. Lower the car and that fixed length holds the anti-roll bar away from the position it was designed to sit in, loading it before the suspension has moved at all. The bar then works from a preloaded starting point rather than a neutral one. An adjustable link lets the length be set to whatever the new ride height requires, returning the bar to a neutral position.
Each link is CNC-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized in the signature MMX gloss black. The OE rubber-bushed ends are replaced with heavy-duty ball joints, chosen by MMX for service life, and each joint is supplied with a fitted rubber dust boot to keep dirt, salt and moisture out.
The body carries a left-hand thread at one end and a right-hand thread at the other, so length is adjusted by rotating the center section without taking the link apart. The range runs from approximately 325mm to 365mm overall, roughly 40mm of adjustment, which covers ride heights from a mild spring drop through to a coilover setup.
Links are supplied as a pair and are a complete OE replacement, not a spacer or an extension.
