The PRL FL5 Wing Delete gives Type R owners a clean, purposeful option when removing the factory rear wing. Machined from billet 6061 aluminum and finished with a durable black anodized coating, each plate installs directly into the factory mounting points on the rear hatch for an OEM plus appearance.
The sculpted upper surface delivers an aerodynamic-inspired profile that matches the FL5s body lines, while the included closed cell EPDM foam gaskets ensure a secure, weather-tight seal that prevents water intrusion into the cabin. Whether you prefer a more subtle street look, aim to reduce drag for racing applications, or simply want a sleek wing-less aesthetic, this Wing Delete is a premium, well-engineered solution worthy of the PRL name.
Installation is straightforward and can be completed with basic hand tools. Each delete plate bolts directly into the factory wing mounting locations using the supplied hardware, with no drilling or permanent modifications required. The foam gasket sits between the plate and hatch to ensure proper sealing and long-term durability.
